The work seat replaces traditional bosun chair setups for work at heights by increasing the safety and the comfort of the worker, especially during extended periods of suspension.
The main difference between the two being, that if one were to cut the support webbing of a work seat, the worker would still be attached at their MPA to their primary descent device whereas in a traditional setup, the chair would hang free and the worker would be caught by their safety line and dorsal D ring, often requiring rescue.
This work seat comes with a padded seat, removable waist belt and auto-locking carabiner as well as side-mounted D-rings for accessory attachment.
CSA certified to ensure safety and compliance and made entirely in Canada, this work seat offers a cost-effective alternative with some great features in a limited market.
